7-12-2021 — Mishler Memorials is the new owner of the 8,800 SF commercial building on 1.86 acres at 13644 McKinley Highway in Mishawaka. The property, which is located between Capital Avenue (State Road 331) and Currant Road, will be the headquarters for the family-run memorial business with seven facilities in Indiana and Michigan. The 75-year-old company is also part of Mishler Funeral Homes located in Bremen and Milford. FM Stone Commercial’s Scott Griffith represented the seller, Horizon Blue Investments, and Bradley Company’s Greg Pink and Kirk Zuber represented Mishler Memorials in the sale.
Continental Mirrored Graphics Purchases Building
6-24-2021 — FM Stone Broker Bill Kuhns assisted Continental Mirrored Graphics in purchasing a 14,800 SF industrial building in Elkhart. The seller was Hughes Realty & Equipment. This will be a second Elkhart location for Continental Mirrored Graphics. The company has another location at 1838 Middlebury Street. The custom glass and mirror fabricators have been in business since 1995. Their products include: pattern cut glass and mirror, tempered glass and mirror, cabinet glass, painted glass, backsplash, tabletop and shelves, glass railing, décor mirror and framing for a variety of commercial and residential industries.
Meijer Coming To North Side of Elkhart
6-15-2021 — Meijer Stores Limited Partnership purchased 11.2 acres on the north side of Elkhart to build a new Meijer store. Meijer is expected to be open in the new location in 2023 and provide up to 200 new jobs for the area. FM Stone’s Brent Miller, SIOR, and Ross Miller, SIOR, represented the sellers, Maywell Development LLC and Smartt Property LLC in the process. The Meijer development will have entrances on County Road 9 (Johnson Street), Cassopolis Street (State Road 19) and Arlington Road.
